About the Opportunity
Join the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund – Office of Investment Management (OIM) as a Public Information Intern and gain hands-on experience in global communications, digital media, and policy content development. OIM manages a $90+ billion investment portfolio across multiple asset classes and is based in New York City, with a diverse team from over 40 countries.

Public Information Intern (Hybrid/Remote) – United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, USA
Key Responsibilities

Research, draft, and edit public information and policy materials for web and digital platforms (in English, French, and Spanish).

Support the design and creation of digital media, including social media posts, and analyze engagement metrics.

Assist in maintaining the OIM intranet and the UNJSPF website.

Compile, analyze, and organize data for internal reports.

Attend meetings and prepare concise summaries.

Contribute to various communications and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program (final year students are eligible).

Field of study must be relevant to the internship.

Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and MS Teams.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) is a plus.

Experience drafting news articles or social media posts is desirable.

Ability to design surveys and polls is advantageous.

Fluency in English required.

Knowledge of French or another official UN language is an asset.
