Time Commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm EST

Role Overview of Social Media Internship Remote USA
As a Social Media Intern, you’ll be an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team, supporting content development across platforms with a focus on short-form video. You’ll help create engaging, shareable content to boost awareness of Active Minds’ initiatives, interact with a vibrant online community, and learn how nonprofits leverage social media for advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and scheduling social media content (especially video).

Collaborate with staff to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.

Engage with Active Minds’ online community and respond to audience interactions.

Support the team with various marketing and administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For in a Social Media Internship Remote USA

Demonstrated passion for social media and digital storytelling.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team setting.

Interest in video filming/editing and comfort appearing on camera.

Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Dropbox.

Experience with Canva is a plus, but not required.
