The United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) seeks a Political Intern to support its Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO). This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and political affairs. Furthermore, this role does not offer pay.

About the Role


As a Political Intern, you will directly support the PBSO branches, which advance the Secretary-General’s agenda on peacebuilding and sustaining peace. In addition, you will contribute to the Youth, Peace, and Security agenda. This role offers you an opportunity to work on substantive issues while assisting colleagues with the day-to-day operations of the office.
