The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) is seeking a Public Information Intern to support its strategic communications and public outreach efforts in New York. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the UN’s mission in a meaningful way.
About the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA)
The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) provides objective and up-to-date information on disarmament issues and activities. In this capacity, the office shares this information with member states, intergovernmental organizations, research institutions, civil society, media, and the general public. For more information, you can visit their website.
UNODA is looking for qualified interns for a maximum of six months. The duration, for example, depends on the office’s needs and your willingness. Nevertheless, this is an unpaid, full-time, and in-person internship at the New York duty station. On the other hand, a manager may allow part-time, remote, or hybrid internships if you request it.

Assisting with drafting and editing publications such as fact sheets, brochures, newsletters, and donor-related updates for internal and external sources.
-
Designing and producing presentations and supporting materials to increase ODA’s visibility.
