Digital Media Intern
About the Internship
As a Digital Media Intern, you will work with the Philanthropy team to support the organization’s online presence. In effect, this is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications and digital strategy. The internship requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate your academic commitments.
Key Responsibilities
A successful candidate will contribute to NEF’s digital strategy and execution. In particular, you will:

Develop Digital Strategy: Create a digital content creation strategy and present these recommendations to the Philanthropy team. This will include developing a clear roadmap for online engagement.

Content Creation & Management: Edit, proofread, and write copy for social media posts, marketing emails, and website articles. In addition, you will assist in organizing and distributing content to enhance NEF’s online presence.

Asset Management: Log and organize NEF’s digital assets within its management system. Consequently, you will help to streamline internal workflows.
Qualifications

Education: You must currently be a student at an accredited college or university, with a major or minor in communications, marketing, public affairs, or a similar field.

Skills: You need to be a competent writer and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Moreover, you should be proactive and passionate about producing quality work.

Compensation & Logistics for Digital Media Internship

Hourly Rate: This is a paid internship. Undergraduates receive $18 per hour, while graduate students receive $20 per hour. College credit is also available.

Work Schedule: You can commit to 10-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule.
