MDDA Grant Funding for Community Media: 2025/26 Applications Now Open
The Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) is a statutory development agency for media. Its mandate is to nurture and promote media diversity and development in South Africa. Consequently, the MDDA opens its 2025/26 Call for MDDA Grant Funding for community media for four weeks. The application window is from July 4 to August 1, 2025. Who Can Apply?
Community media projects with a valid Class Broadcast Service Licence can access this MDDA grant funding. This includes community radio stations, television channels, and community print publications. In addition, the MDDA encourages small commercial print publications to apply.
