The Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) actively seeks a motivated Communications Intern UN for its Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) in New York, USA. This truly offers an incredible opportunity; you can directly contribute strategic inputs to the PBSO’s vital communications and visibility strategy.

This unpaid, in-person, full-time internship (35 hours per week) runs for a duration of six months. Interns work on the United Nations premises in New York. The Public Information Officer in the Financing for Peacebuilding Branch (FPB) directly supervises interns. This role, therefore, allows independent work on substantive issues while supporting day-to-day office operations, truly offering a rich learning experience within a leading international organization.
