For over 55 years, Reproductive Freedom for All has fought to protect and expand reproductive freedom for everybody. Therefore, we are seeking a passionate and organized individual for a Fall 2025 Development Internship. This Reproductive Freedom for All Internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising while contributing to a mission-driven organization. In fact, the ideal candidate has an interest in fundraising and also a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Position Details for a Development Internship


  • Compensation: $18.67 per hour

  • Schedule: Part-time, 25-30 hours per week (flexible hours)

  • Location: Fully remote

  • Duration: September 22, 2025 – December 12, 2025

Role & Responsibilities


As a result, as a Development Intern, you will provide essential administrative and fundraising support to the Development Department. For instance, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with donor research and prospecting;

  • Furthermore, supporting grant operations and cataloging;

  • Helping with donor cultivation and stewardship;

  • In addition, drafting thank you letters and updating donor databases;

  • Providing general administrative support and editing development materials like newsletters.

 

What You Will Learn During this Internship


This Reproductive Freedom for All Internship is designed to provide you with valuable skills and knowledge. For example, you will learn:

  • The structure and function of a nonprofit Development Department;

  • In particular, donor research skills for individuals, foundations, and businesses;

  • Effective donor communication and database management;

  • Project management and organizational skills in a nonprofit environment.

 

Qualifications


First of all, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for reproductive freedom;

  • Additionally, enjoys talking to new people and maintaining a professional demeanor;

  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and organizational skills;

  • Has prior experience or a demonstrated ability in professional research;

  • Furthermore, is comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Google Suite;

  • Moreover, shows a demonstrated commitment to contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
